Scheduling messages should work as seamlessly as typing normal messages.
That is why I am excited to announce this small update that brings that a little bit closer. You can now tag users and channels in your scheduled messages!
As per usual, once you have the Schedule Messages for Slack app installed, you can use the /schedule command to schedule a message sometime in the future.
With this latest update, you can now tag users, @here or reference another channel the same way you would when writing a message normally in Slack. The links and notifications will all display as expected!
If you are referencing a private channel, that channel will come through as static text and not a link.
